That is not a feeling. That is geometry.
She has planned every birthday in that family for nine years. Her own was in March. Somebody posted a picture of it, and it was a picture of her, holding somebody else's cake.

She has planned every birthday in that family for nine years.
The cake the one person who matters will actually eat. The restaurant with the parking. The group chat she starts, runs, and quietly removes people from when they begin arguing about the split.
She books six weeks ahead because the good table goes fast, and she puts the deposit on her own card and works out the reimbursement later, which is to say she often does not.
Her own birthday was in March. Somebody posted a picture of it. It was a picture of her, holding somebody else's cake.
She was not upset about that, and she will tell you so, and she will mean it, and she has already started thinking about next year's.
The room itself
A birth chart has twelve houses, and they are not personality traits, they are rooms. Areas of life. The first house is you, arriving. The seventh is partnership. The tenth is the public record of what you did.
The sixth house is work, service, health and daily ritual. It is the shift, the routine, the maintenance, the body, the small repeated unglamorous act that holds a life together.
It is the least glamorous room in the chart, and there is a reason nobody writes about it. Nothing in there photographs well. The sixth house is the dishes, the appointment, the follow-up call, the thing you did on Tuesday that means Thursday works.
And then there is the geometry
Here is the technical piece, and it is the one that reorganises everything.
Houses relate to each other by angle. The first and seventh are opposite, one hundred and eighty degrees apart, which is why partnership is the thing that stares straight back at you. The first and fourth sit at ninety degrees, a square, which is friction you can feel. The first and fifth sit at one hundred and twenty, a trine, easy and flowing.
The sixth house sits at one hundred and fifty degrees from the first. In traditional terms that is an inconjunct, and in the older language those houses were said to not behold each other. No aspect. No line of sight. The two rooms cannot see one another.
The house of your daily labour is structurally invisible from the house where you stand. It is not that people are ungrateful, although some of them are. It is that the architecture of the chart itself puts that work in the one room with no window facing you.
DEPOSITS FRONTED .... most
REIMBURSED .......... some
HER BIRTHDAY ........ March
THE PHOTOGRAPH ...... her, holding somebody else's cake
Who did not notice first
This is the part I need you to sit with, and it is not the comfortable version.
The first person who did not notice what you did was never them.
It was you. You cannot see the room either. You have been standing in the same chart as everybody else, looking in the same direction, and the labour has been invisible to you at exactly the same angle. That is why you can list what you did in a nine-year stretch and still feel, honestly and with no self-pity at all, that you have not really done very much.
The practice, and it is a practice
You do not fix a blind spot by trying harder to see. You fix it by installing a mirror, and this is the cheapest mirror there is.
Say it out loud.
I took out the trash. I walked the dog. I planned the party.
You're welcome.
Flat, unprompted, to nobody, in the kitchen, at eleven at night. It will feel ridiculous the first time and slightly less ridiculous the fourth time, and somewhere around the second week you will notice that you have started keeping a running list of things you handled, which is the entire point... you are building the window the chart did not give you.
Nobody is coming to say it. That is not bitterness, it is geometry, and geometry is not personal. So say it to yourself, and mean it, and then rest, because you are a woman with the power to hold your own dreams and other people's, and until you rest you will not have the strategy you need to ground any of it.
And that's on Virgo. ♈︎
Send it on
Say it back to yourself, out loud, in the kitchen, and mean it.
Save it
A vision board is a sixth-house artifact... it is the future, filed. Put this one where you will see it again.
